Pencil Me in...

---

As a freelance writer my ramblings and rants (reviews, views, columns and interviews) have appeared in The Boston Phoenix, Web del Sol, The Improper Bostonian, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Film Threat, Playboy.com and E! Online. I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts; enjoy yoga practice, long walks in the woods and try to ride my bike everywhere. My fiction and essays can be found at/in Thieves Jargon (a great little e-zine), Slow Trains, New Works Review and Word RiotMy short, Antenuptial was a finalist in the 2005 Bukowski Pint and Pen short story competition and The Season That Almost Wasn’t won 1st place in the 2006 Open Window contest at Ghost Road Press. In the Spring of 2007, my short, Scrambling was included in Grub Street’s 10th year, best of anthology, Hacks. You can get all my stories and articles in the Vault.

I’ve done some radio and TV as a regular on the Taste of Boston Tonight show on WRKO (680) with host Todd Feinburg, the Arnie Arnesen show on WNTK, New Hampshire, and the David Brudnoy show (a friend, sadly no longer with us) on WBZ. I’ve also appeared regularly on New England Cable News.

Currently I’m working on a collection of interlinked short stories that take place in and around Boston.
